## Running a Scan

### Quick Scan with Presets

1. Go to **Markets > Stock Hunter**
2. Select the **Recommendations** tab
3. Click **New Scan**
4. Choose a preset category:

6. Wait for AI analysis (usually 1-2 minutes)

1. Select **Custom** instead of a preset
2. Enter up to 20 symbols
3. Click **Scan**

2. AI analyzes your saved symbols

## Understanding Recommendations

### Recommendation Types

1. From any recommendation, click **Generate Report**
2. Or go to **Stock Hunter > Reports** tab
3. Enter symbol and click **Generate**
4. Wait for progressive generation (watch sections complete)
5. View completed report

### Report Cost
- Reports use AI credits (~$1.08 per full report)
- BYOK users: charged to your API key
- Check estimate before generating

### Report Status
- **Pending** — Queued for generation
- **Generating** — Sections being written
- **Completed** — Ready to view
- **Failed** — Error occurred (retry available)

Test a recommendation without real money.

### Starting a Paper Trade
1. Click **Paper Trade** on a recommendation
2. Enter position size
3. Confirm entry price
4. Trade is opened in paper mode

### Tracking Paper Trades
- Go to **Stock Hunter > Paper Trades** tab
- See open positions and P&L
- Close trades manually or via stop/target

## Setting Alerts

Run scans automatically on a schedule.

### Setting Up
1. Go to **Stock Hunter > Scheduled** tab
2. Click **New Schedule**
3. Choose:
   - Scan type (preset or custom)
   - Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
   - Time to run
4. Save

### Receiving Results
- Email notification when scan completes
- Results appear in Recommendations tab

1. Go to **Stock Hunter > Presets** tab

3. Favorites appear at the top
